The traditional therapy with its effective and relaxing treatments has its origin in Emanuel Felke (1856-1926). He has been pastor because of his job and healing person because of his vocation. From 1916 to 1926 he worked in Sobernheim and laid the foundation for the development of the lovely place in the region Naheland to a state-recognized Felke health spa. Felke has completed the already well-known natural medicine of light, air and water with the element of clay. The “healing earth” has become the centre of his therapy.
