Emanuel Felke (1856-1926), the father of Felke therapy and pioneer of the idea of Medical Wellness has been pastor because of his job and healing person because of his vocation. From 1916 to 1926 he worked in Sobernheim and laid the foundation for the development of the lovely place in the region Naheland to a state-recognized health spa. Felke has completed the already well-known natural medicine of light, air and water with the element of clay. The “healing earth” has become the centre of his therapy and Felke became famous as „clay priest”. That trend of natural energy has been kept until today.

The four Felke elements demand and stimulate the organism. Clay, light, air and water in connection with much fitness, relaxation, energy treatments and a valuable vital cuisine, excellent vegetarian menus and fish have an intensive and vitalizing effect. From that reason for many people Felke therapy is today an important element of Medical Wellness for the challenges of their everyday life!
