Montfort Castle Ruins
Great tour with bike
The Montfort ruins are among the most impressive castle remains in the Palatinate. Today off major roads, 10 km west of Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg, situated in idyllic woodland surroundings, the castle was built around 1200 by the Counts of Veldenz to monitor a nearby military road.
Rotenfels
The Rotenfels near Bad Münster am Stein is an approx. 1.2 km long, steep impact slope in the Nahe Valley. From approx. 118 m above normal zero, it rises almost vertically to 237 m. Considered one of the most beautiful and largest rocks in Central Europe. The mountain range is ideal for hikers due to its many hiking trails. Various rare plants and animals can only be found in this region.

Odernheim am Glan
A landscaped park in the middle of the ancient ruins of the monastery. Hildegard von Bingen lived and worked here for 40 years. Follow the meditation trail up the mountain and dive into times gone by. Twelve stations with texts of the psalms and corresponding passages from the work of St. Hildegard invites you to relax, think and pray.

A 3500 m long circular trail all the way to Felke awaits you. Feel sand, stones, grass and bark grit under your feet. Go through clay and water.
