General information
- Our hotel is non-smoking throughout.
- Pets are not permitted.
- We cannot accept liability for the loss of or damage to valuables.
Booking and payment terms

Minimum stay
- Minimum stay: two nights
- Public holiday weekends/Carnival: minimum stay of three nights
Rooms and additional services
- Specific room requests can be confirmed for stays of five nights or more (subject to change).
- Double room/suite for single occupancy: please enquire about the nightly supplement (subject to availability).
- Late check-out is available subject to availability and for an additional charge.
- Rooms are cleaned Monday to Saturday.
Medical services and health programmes
- Medical services are not included in the room rate. Please book appointments at our medical practice well in advance (charged separately).
- Please arrive at least two hours before your appointment; missed appointments are subject to a cancellation fee.
- Packages including medical services: All services listed in the package are included. Any additional services will be charged separately.
- Treatments are billed privately according to our own rates, which may differ from private health insurance and German state aid reimbursement rates.
- A €25 service fee is charged if a separate invoice for treatments is required.
Prices and taxes
- VAT: All prices are quoted in euros and include statutory VAT.
- Visitor's tax: €1.30 per person per night (not included in the room rate).
- Prices are subject to change. Errors and omissions excepted.
Vouchers
- Vouchers are valid and may only be redeemed once they have been paid for in full.
- Vouchers and any remaining balance cannot be exchanged for cash.
Electronic devices
- Devices may only be charged using GS-certified chargers.
- E-bike batteries may only be charged in the designated outdoor area/e-bike garage.
- Guests are fully liable for any damage caused by improper charging.
Parking
- Free outdoor parking is available.
- Carports: €5 per day (reservation recommended).
- Two charging points for electric vehicles are available.
Cancellation policy
- Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival.
- Less than 10 days before arrival: 70% of the room rate.*
- Less than two days before arrival: 100% of the room rate.*
- *For a future stay, we will credit 50% of the cancellation charges, provided a new booking is made within 12 months.
- In the event of late arrival or early departure, the meal portion of the booking price will be reimbursed.
Recommendation:
We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance, for example with HanseMerkur.
Wellness and treatments
- Use of the wellness and sports facilities is at your own risk.
- Swimwear must be worn in the indoor pool. We recommend wearing pool shoes due to the risk of slipping.
- We cannot accept liability for valuables left unattended.
- Please book wellness treatments in advance.
- Treatments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will be charged in full.
Day Spa guests
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before your appointment.
- For cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance, the full amount will be charged.
- Payment is due at the end of your stay and can be made in cash, by card or with a voucher.
Wi-Fi
- Wi-Fi is available free of charge (except in the Spa, the Vitalresort-Therme im Park and Haus Felke).
Data protection
- Your personal data will be used exclusively to process your reservation and will not be passed on to third parties.
German state aid and reimbursement
- Our establishment is recognised under Section 30 of the German Trade Regulation Act (GewO) and as a sanatorium specialising in naturopathic treatments.
- Sanatorium treatment/German state aid (Beihilfe):
- Reimbursement is subject to the applicable German state aid regulations.
- Applications must be made through your GP and, where applicable, an official medical officer.
- Eligible for state aid under Section 6 of the German State Aid Regulations and officially recognised under Section 7(4) of the applicable state aid provisions.
- Private health insurance: Reimbursement depends on your individual policy.
- Outpatient preventive and rehabilitation treatment (Badekur):
- Applications must be made through your GP.
- Coverage may include spa doctor fees, treatment costs (with a 10% patient contribution) and a contribution towards accommodation costs.
- Reimbursement arrangements must be clarified before arrival.
- Package billing is not possible in this case; individual invoices are required.
- Tax deductibility: Costs not reimbursed may, under certain circumstances, be claimed as exceptional expenses for German tax purposes (a medical certificate is required).

Many of our guests deliberately choose Menschels Vitalresort as a place to take a break from everyday family life.
- Children are not permitted in the Vitalresort-Therme im Park & Spa.
- Children may use the indoor pool when accompanied by their parents.
