The special thing about our cuisine
100% vegetarian breakfast and lunch — Menschels serves lots of fresh fruit, herbs, sprouts and homemade spreads on the breakfast buffet, as well as raw milk cheese from cows, goats or sheep. We offer you cereal varieties, cereal porridge and lots of fresh selections. At lunchtime, a salad buffet with lots of raw salads, jacket potatoes, herb quark, a hot dish and a dessert. In the evening, we serve you a menu, and there are also meat and fish dishes to choose from 4 times a week.

Vegetarian or vegan
The chefs in our wellness hotel put together a creative and varied menu selection every day. More and more dishes can also be advertised as “vegan,” which you can see every day on Menschel's daily mail.
Tips for home
- Eat at least 5 portions of fruit (2x) and vegetables (3x) per day — full of vitamins to “eat full”
- Use high-quality fats (cold-pressed rapeseed, olive, linseed oil, butteral spread) and linseed oil (omega-3 fatty acids) sparingly
- Eat foods rich in starch and sugar only a little and in small portions
- Avoid combining foods high in sugar and fat
- If you want to snack — preferably with or after main meals
- Eat a protein-rich food with every meal (prefer plant-based foods — e.g. legumes, tofu or nuts/almonds)
- Prefer lean meats and meat products
- Milk makes the difference — our most important source of calcium
- Consume fatty sea fish regularly (as an alternative, linseed oil also provides you with omega-3 fatty acids)
- Water is life - drink enough to keep your mind and body moving
- Move a lot and enjoy — exercise prevents weight gain and preserves body substance (the more muscle mass you have, the more you can eat without gaining weight)
- Concentrated energy - The body needs fat, but too much is harmful to health, making the right choice is important
