Information about your reservation at Menschels Vitalresort:
- The hotel is a non-smoking hotel. Pets are not allowed.

Booking and payment conditions:
- Down payment: For stays of 8 nights or more, we ask for 50% of the booking price as a deposit.
- Payment: Your bill must be paid locally in cash or by card at the latest upon departure.

Minimum stay:
- At least 2 nights, on public holiday weekends/Shrovetide 3 nights.
Rooms and additional services:
- Preferred rooms can be reserved for stays of 5 nights or more (subject to change).
- Double room/suite for single use: extra charge per night — double room €75, suite €120 (subject to availability).
- Late check-out subject to availability, for a fee.
- Room cleaning is done from Monday to Saturday.
Medical services and vital programs:
- Medical services are not included in the room rate. Please book appointments in our medical practice in good time (billing is carried out separately by the practice).
- Please arrive at least 2 hours before an appointment; if you fail to do so, a cancellation fee will be charged.
- Arrangements with medical services: All medical services listed in the package are included. Additional services are charged separately.
- The therapies are billed privately and are home rates that differ from the rates of health insurance and aid agencies. If you would like a separate therapy bill, we will charge a service fee of €25.
Prices and taxes:
- Value added tax: All prices are in euros, including VAT.
- Tourist tax: The local tax of €1.30 per person/night is not included in the room rate.
- Price changes: Prices are subject to change and errors.
Menschels Vitalresort vouchers:
- Only vouchers paid in full are valid and can be redeemed.
- Cash payment of the voucher value or residual values is generally not possible
Charging electronic devices in the rooms
- Charging electronic devices is only permitted with GS-certified chargers.
- E-bike batteries may only be charged outdoors.
- The guest is fully liable for damage caused by improper charging or improper use of electronic devices.
Parking spaces:
- Free outdoor parking is available.
- Carports can be reserved for €5 per day.
- There are two charging stations for electric vehicles.
Cancellation conditions:
- Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival.
- Less than 10 days before arrival: 70% of the booked room rate*.
- Less than 2 days before arrival: 100% of the booked room rate*.
- *For a later stay, we credit 50% of the cancellation costs (applies to a new booking within 12 months).
- In case of late arrival/early departure: Compensation of the catering fees.
Important dates:
- Break: From 08. to 27.12.2025 Our hotel remains closed.
- From 28.12. to 01.01. New Year's Eve package only available.
Wellness and treatments:
- Use of the wellness and sports area is at your own risk.
- Use of the indoor pool is only allowed with swimwear. For safety reasons, we recommend wearing bathing shoes.
- The hotel assumes no liability for loss or damage to valuables.
- We ask you to book wellness treatments in advance.
- Applications that are not cancelled on time (at least 24 hours before the confirmed appointment) will be charged.
Day spa guests:
- Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 48 hours before the booked date. For later cancellations, the date will be charged in full.
- At the end of your stay, you can pay your bill in cash, by card or upon presentation of a voucher.
WIFI:
- WiFi is available free of charge (except in the spa, the Therme im Park and Haus Felke).
Privacy and security:
- Your data will only be used to process your reservation and will not be shared with third parties.
Grants and reimbursements
Our house is eligible for aid in accordance with Section 30 of the GewO and is recognized as a sanatorium for naturopathic treatments. Health insurance companies and aid agencies contribute to the costs if the following conditions are met:
Sanatorium course/allowances:
- Reimbursement of costs by aid agencies under the aid directives.
- Application via the family doctor, possibly also via the district doctor.
- Eligible under Section 6 Public Service Aid Code, state-recognized sanatorium in accordance with Section 7 (4) of the State aid rules.
Private health insurance companies:
- Reimbursement after completed tariff
Outpatient preventive and rehabilitation treatment (spa treatment):
- Application via the family doctor.
- payment of bathing medical expenses,
- Resort costs at contract rates (10% own contribution) and subsidy for pension costs.
- The decision regarding reimbursement of costs must be clarified with the appropriate authority before arrival. Please note that lump sum payments are not possible in this case, as you need detailed individual statements for the relevant offices.
Costs for inpatient or outpatient treatment that are not covered by any insurance can be recognized as exceptional payroll and income tax burdens. The prerequisite for this is the presentation of an official medical certificate confirming the necessity of the measure and proof that it was properly carried out under medical supervision.
Note: Many guests come to us to take a break from everyday family life. That is why our younger guests have no access to the Vitalresort-Therme in the Park & SPA. The use of the indoor swimming pool is allowed when accompanied by parents.
