Organic quality at Menschels Vitalresort

As an organic hotel, we place a strong emphasis on the quality and provenance of our food. In our kitchen, we use certified organic ingredients and prioritise seasonal and regional produce.

ABCERT AG monitors compliance with the legal requirements for the use and labelling of organic food in our kitchen. Our establishment has been inspected and certified in accordance with the Organic Catering Regulation (Bio-AHVV) (control number D-RP-006-00280-V).

We also use carefully selected natural materials to design our guest rooms.

For construction and renovation work, we use natural building materials such as clay, wood, sandstone and slate. Wherever possible, we source our materials locally and collaborate with regional craft businesses. This helps to strengthen the regional economy.

Energy and resource conservation at Menschels

• We generate heat in our wood chip heating system using timber sourced from the local area.
• Our own well provides the fresh water, which is treated using the Grander method – including for the spa and natural swimming pool.
• We source 100% green electricity from LichtBlick.
• Our building services are energy-efficient.
• We use organic cleaning and laundry products from Sonett and Sodasan.
• We use 100% recycled paper throughout the premises.
• Our solar panel system covers around 30% of our electricity requirements.
